@BarryMCosmetics Chameleon Nail Effect Lilac - #review & #photos

The nail polish of the week is Barry M Chameleon Nail Effect. I love all their products from nail polishes, to eye shadows and eye liners, click here to check out other colours.

This lovely colour change lilac is great for autumn despite the shimmering, they have 3 colours (at least here in the UK) and they are really pretty, with an amazing finish, although you must use a glossy top coat to give it a shine.

The Magical Chameleon instant nail effect means you have two colours in one! Instructions:
1. Apply a base-coat and then apply one coat of your chameleon nail paint and allow to dry
2. Apply second coat and allow to dry
3. Create a design with your clear nail paint and watch it change colour

The colour isn't exactly that dark, it's because I applied the glittery nail polish on the top.
I even used a pretty nail art flower to give a different look; I saw that colour on some of the photos from London Fashion Week, where some of the models were wearing something similar.

Barry M nail polish is very affordable at £3.99 per bottle and lasts on your nails for days...

You can find Barry M Chameleon Nail Effect here.

Nail Polish of the Week - @ChinaGlaze Pink Neon - #review & photos

Hi girls,

China Glaze Nail Lacquer is more than just colours, this professional lacquer with hardeners helps promotes healthy nail growth and is Toluene (A colourless liquid hydrocarbon present in coal tar and petroleum and used as a solvent and in organic synthesis) Free! Nice!!

Long wearing formula it makes nails look spectacular and dries in seconds. China Glaze offers the latest technology in formula's and colour selection.

For the longest lasting manicure apply base coat, two coats of lacquer and then top coat. Refresh when needed with another coat. Great for manicures and pedicures! However this lacquer chips very easily after a few days, dries flat so you need to use a top coat, is completely matte without a topcoat; but it is not that bad though.

At the same time the pink neon has a great coverage and excellent texture. The pink colour is fantastic, great for summer and spring.

There are many on line shops that sell different colours and texture of China Glaze and the good thing is that they aren't so expensive, so anyone can buy them. Amazing!! Today is the fourth day with my nail polish and it still looks so tidy and amazing... The average price can be from £5.50 to £7. Get ready for summer...

So girls I really hope you guys like the review and let me know what you think...

Thank you for stopping buy...

@OPI_PRODUCTS Upfront & Personal #nailpolish

How gorgeous is this nail polish from OPI!! It is so cute with an amazing shimmering and a beautiful glossy finish. I loved it so much!! All sparkly and gold this nail polish is excellent for people like me who loves high gloss nail polish to wear daily...

They say it is chip resistant, however it lasted only a few days, and then the nail polish started fading on the edge of my nails. It is part of the designers series - a golden glitter nail polish, you need at least 2 coats for a much more elegant finish and it is very easy to apply.

Some even say that the colour is a warm colour, light champagne foil polish with a peach undertone, I like to think so! In my opinion I find it very pricey from £9 to £11 per 15ml bottle. Should you give it a try? I think you should... :-)

@ChinaGlaze: Scarlet - #RedCoatTuesday

Hi Girls,

This week I came with this beautiful nail polish from China Glaze called Scarlet, like all the others I've posted from China Glaze, it's a lovely and very lively colour. I did use a white polish to make the polka dots.
Scarlet shade is really pretty, the texture is very thin, so you need to apply at least 2 to 3 coats if you like it really red. It lasts a few days and it has a lovely glossy finish.

I don't normally wear red colours because of my work as I'm beauty therapist, but this one I really liked. I do hope you like the colour, and if you do let me know what you think.

By the way. Do you fancy participate the  #prettylittleliars RedCoatTuesday?

Fashion Trends Spring 2014 - Review

How colourful is the next season! Lots of red, orange, nude and pink colours around the fashion word.  The nails polishes and lipsticks are following the trends that were on the catwalks around the world.

I can't wait to try the new rich and bold colours on my nails and lips specially the pinks, which I love. We are looking forward to the new season after so much rain and gray, now it's time to put some colour in our daily routine, it could be on our hair, nails, lips, cheeks, eyes and also on our outfits.

I also recommend for those who loves nail art to try new designers and shape and few fabulous all day long. There are an extensive world of nail art which you could even apply at home, however I do suggest a professional for a much more tidy look.

Do you want some inspiration? Just check the pics below. I hope this post has been very helpful...

@BarryMCosmetics Bright Red - Nail Polish of the Week

Hello Ladies,

The nail polish for this week is Bright Red from Berry M I have been buying a lot Berry M's nail polishes lately because I really like the vibrant colours the brand has. This time I went for a radiant red and I even used Gosh Ocean to make a little starfish in my ring finger.

It is not just the colours, but the texture and finish, Barry M has quite a few beautiful colours such brights, metallics, nudes and reds. I applied two coats to give the watermelon red shade that I was looking for. It is so pretty just the way I wanted. The best thing is that they are very affordable and can be found almost in any drugstore or cosmetic shops.

So ladies I do hope this post has been helpful, any comments much appreciated and don't forget to check the ladie's nail polishes out below this post...

Thank you for stopping by...

Best Wishes...

O.P.I Here Today Aragon Tomorrow - Review & Photos

Hello Ladies,

Today I have got this pretty nail polish from O.P.I to show you. It's "Here Today Aragon Tomorrow" which I loved. to be honest with you I'm not very keen on green nail polishes but this one caught my attention because it's a dark green and I love dark nail polish.

It's consistency is very thin and you need to apply at least 3 layers if you want the finish much more thicker and darker. But after I applied three coats (on top of a base coat) it still showed bald patches which is really quite a let down. I have other OPI nail polishes that aren't at all like this one and look wearable with just one coat.

The nail polish looks black from far away but you can see the green if you look closer, it also shimmers in sunlight but I don't think I would buy it again because I really like thicker nail polishes like the creamy consistency ones.

It lasted around 4 days on my nails I think they have quite a big bottle for nail polishes which I think is really good, however it's a bit pricey considering I bought it in these trade only shops, so i found expensive. I will try on my lovely clients and I will give you guys feedback from them also.

So girls that is my tip for you today any comments just send me a message and if you do have that colour please do let me know your thoughts are...

Nail Polish of the Week: China Glaze - Mahogany Magic

Look what a lovely brownish colour I have this week as my nail polish of the week. It's the China Glaze Mahogany Magic from the Hunger Games Collection. I love the colour, the texture, the finish and I even added a little daisy's nail art just to make it cuter!I'm so in love with this colour which I don't normally wear, but this one called my attention with its glossy finish, but of course I used a top coat as well just to give an extra wow!Since when I used gel nail polish, my nails changed a bit, they are weak and breaks very easily. So I did stop with the gel for a while which is the Salon System Profile Gellux Gel Polish. Not good!! But I'm really trying to let my nails grow again the way it was before and China Glaze is helping a lot.I love the brand!!So girls I really hope you like the review and if you do let us know what you think and what colour or collection you like the most...

Thank you for stopping by and for commenting!

Nail Polish of the Week: Mirror Mirror - Golden Metallic

This week I came up with this beautiful golden metallic nail polish that I got from a teen magazine for nail art. I loved the colour so much that I had to buy the magazine and tested the nail polish, it didn't last 2 days, however I loved the colour and the soft golden metallic finish. It also came with a black pen for nail art which I did this beautiful leopard print nail art.

I applied three different colours, the first one was the base which is the golden metallic one, the second one was a dark nude colour which I got from my nail art course and the third one was the black pen.

This was my first nail art from the course, so guys don't expect to much as I'm just beginner, despite I'm manicurist for almost a year now. The nail art side has just started so I really hope you guys like it.

Once again, sorry for the crap photos, I did buy a lovely Nikon D5000, soon I will be able to take good pics, I hope!

And one more week for the Girly Girl Nail Art Challenge, Have a look:

Nail Polish of the Week: Collection 2000 Nail Bright

This week I came with beautiful nail polish with a little bit of nail art and at the same time is so soft and cute. I do love French manicure, they always look so cute, chick and simple at the same time and there are so many ways to do a nail art, anything with it looks so lovely...

I even used a golden nail polish to mark the edge of my French mani just to give an extra wow to it. I used 3 nail polishes and I bought all three at Boots. They were quite cheap and there are so many ways to do a nail art which you can do with 3 colours.

But the one that I really like is from Collection 2000, which calls nail bright and it is really good for your nails if you have a dark colour naturally. I used this nail whitener as a base and top coat which gave me this amazing kind of soft white finish as I don't really like the pinkish French nail manicure.

So girls I do hope you like the colour and the nail art, if you do let me know what you think.

Don't forget to check out the lovely ladies from the Girly Girl Nail Art Challenge below this week is the Chick Flicks and I'm a bit late with this one...

OPI Germany Collection for Fall/Winter 2012

OPI embraces runway trends with the Germany Collection for Fall/Winter 2012. Drawing inspiration from Berlin, an exciting new fashion hub that blends classic looks with the avant-garde, the collection’s twelve shades offer a mixture of vibrant colour, urban-chic neutrals, and reds in variations from light to dark.

Designers showcased rich colours and striking textures for fall,” The Germany Collection beautifully complements these looks, with stand out shades in various hues of red and burgundy – the season’s ‘new black.’ Sapphire, black olive and lime yellow are married with creamy neutrals in honey, taupe and nude rose.”

The overall feel of the Germany Collection is elegance with an edge. The varied palette of colours adds another accent to the list of special touches – think beadwork, paneling, fur and embroidery – that walked the runways. Wearing these shades on fingers and toes is a great way to accessorize a range of looks for the season.

Germany by OPI includes the following shades:

Don’t Pretzel My Buttons
A haute honey-beige that can always make you smile.

My Very First Knockwurst

Nail Polish of the Week: Avon Mercury Metal

Hi girls, we are in the second week of the Girly Girl Nail Art Challenge; my nail art this time is very pretty, sparkly and yet simple.
I applied two coats of Avon Mercury Metal, glitter and a couple of diamonds. So cute!
The crazy thing is that I polished and glittered my nails in my car on my way to the beach, it's very hot today. How amazing!!!So I don't know if it came right, but I tried. It's like a challenge in a challenge, if you know what I mean.
I have done this design before, but I just can't remember if I have posted it, in case I don't have posted it, here we go... I hope you enjoy!

The colour is so lovely and the texture is OK, like, nothing amazing, but it is OK. It gives this opaque finish, so you really need a glossy top coat. Check out other works from my lovely friends and let me know what you think...

Thank you for stopping by...

Nail Polish of the Week: Revlon - 120 Cupid

So girls I have been dying to show this beautiful nail polish colour which I bought long ago and never had the chance to post it. As some of you know I love pink nail polish, and I have posted some colours for the last couple of months (click here)
This time I want to show you this one from Revlon called 120 Cupid. This nail polish is very pretty pink shade, and the finish is amazing with a lovely gloss on it. The texture is kind of medium (not too thick or too thin) and you must apply to layers to be able to see the lovely glossy pink finish.
I don't know why I love pink so much; because of me, even my 4 years old daughter is crazy about pink as well from toys to jewellery, clothes and shoes; everything pink! When she saw the Revlon nail polish, she was like popcorn, jumping around for me to use this colour on her nail. So cute!
But going back to the review, I found the bottle a bit big 14.7ml, which is very good and it isn't so expensive at £6.49 per bottle, comparing to the other brands; I even used a little nail art on it to give an extra wow! Check out the photos below and let me know what you guys think, pink lovers...

Where to buy? Click here

And now there is a nail art challenge going on, if you would like to participate just go to Lisa's Nail Obsession for more details.
